Executive Summary
Background
GSU's Center for Health Services Research is dedicated to achieving
superior health services research in the general areas of health
services administration, health infor-mation systems, and outcome
measures. As a research team focused solely on health services research,
the Center's research associates have undertaken numerous projects
related to management of integrated health systems, information
technology in health care, quality measurement in healthcare, medical
practice manage-ment, and evaluation of various health programs.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia State University,
the Center's dynamic health services research group responds to
data requirements and evaluation needs of clients, including pharmaceutical
companies, managed care organizations, integrated health systems,
federal, state and county agencies, e-commerce entrepreneurs and
private clients.
